The Joys of Today

My vacation is quickly coming to an end but I am and have been enjoying every minute of it.  Today was a great day!  I went to Virginia Beach with a friend and bought souvenirs for friends in Indo. Afterwards, we went to Whole Foods and enjoyed picking out multivitamins for me to take back. Lastly, my cousin came by and we had fun chatting about what we have been up to for the past two years I have been gone.  What a wonderful day it was.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been following my blog or just checking it out from time to time!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,800 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

Beautiful Artwork at the Hamad International Airport

I thought that I would regret not flying with Emirates but Qatar is O.K. (I still prefer Emirates for long distance travel)!

This work of art is situated in a popular area at the airport and it’s not just art, it’s a part of a play set in the playground area here for the kids!

Bidet at the Hamad International Airport

So, I have started my Christmas Holiday trip and I am so excited!  I left Jakarta at midnight and I am now waiting for my connecting flight to D.C. in Qatar.  I thought that after I left Indonesia I wouldn’t see my beloved bidet for the 2 weeks in which I will be gone but to my surprise, the Hamad International airport comes equipped with the bidet and it’s even better than the one in Jakarta because it has warm water.

How luxurious!  😉

Come on, USA! Please install a bidet for every toilet in every bathroom! There are only benefits to this treasure!  😀
