~The beautiful flower, in all her glory, drinking in the light of the sun, grows uninterruptedly in front of an old apartment building on a side-street in Busan, South Korea. Perhaps, many have walked past her today while she was radiating her uncontainable beauty. What is this beauty that we cannot contain?
She wasn’t fully bloomed and there was some dirt apparent on her petals, at closer look. I contemplated for a moment on the non-doing; the beingness of the flower. The powerfully simple essence of beauty was in and around the flower.
~Four sociable ducks in the glistening water. Drinking in the sun, bathing and socializing while catching a meal.
~ The sun’s light penetrates the forest and illuminates the intricacy of the leafless branches. I believe, adequately compared to the intricacy of the nervous system of the body. And what does this all mean? That we’re all connected, perhaps? And possibly at closer look, a bit more connected to our surroundings than we consciously realize.
Drinking in the sunlight, piercing through the forest.
The statue of King Neptune can be found on the boardwalk of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Every time I go to the beach here, I am constantly amazed by the sheer size and presence that this statue has; it really is a phenomenal work of art, in my opinion. I believe, what is most notable, is the unwavering tortoise in King Neptune’s strong, commanding grasp. There is an intense sense of soul illuminating this piece that is unshakable; the fervor used to create this statue is undeniable and arguably, unparalleled to any I’ve ever seen.
Portsmouth City Park is to blame for this lovely photograph.
